Are DX9-11 games still performing poorly? I will update my findings as they emerge on another post below. To get a somewhat clear image of what works exceptionally well, and also those that work exceptionally bad. I would like to hear other peoples experiences with games on a Arc A770 card. Third competitor is not just great it is NEEDED. Nvidia has chugged their own koolaid and priced their GPU's way over anything even resembling a good price/performance ratio. ![]() Some people say it's not a direct competitor to AMD/NVIDIA GPU's, but they clearly don't know what they are talking about. If this is how great the first set of ARC GPU's perform, i expect great things from Intel GPU's in the future. But i will post my findings here as they emerge. I mostly play survival and crafting games, so i can't make broad statements about the overall performance of the A770 16GB on some "AAA" games. (Game related issues/experiences moved to another post below) To be frank, it was not a good fit for a high resolution ultrawide panel.Īrc control software has crashed two times. I built a new rig about a year ago and the only GPU i could get my hands on was a 1060 6GB. I switched to Arc from a Nvidia card, that wasn't so great. The games that the drivers are not optimized for not so much, but that is to be expected and most likely improve over time. Games that i personally play, work really well. I was skeptical of these Arc GPU's at first, but day after day it just keeps positively suprising me. ![]() Multi-Core Processors Bring World of Tanks to Life How to Apply Thermal Paste and How It WorksĬPU Cooler: Liquid Cooling Vs. So, at level 8, if you took the Bobblehead you become 9 and then you have only one level to increase through normal leveling up and that's it. ![]() The only difference, is it can increase SPECIAL stats over the max (10) only if you took the Bobblehead when you are maxed out at 10. Bobblehead increased stats are not any different from normal leveling up At 9 and less stars. If you add a point of STR your stats will reflect 6 (5 stars +1 bobblehead). You can check them when you level up.See that your STR, for example, is 5 with your STR bobblehead, but when you go to level up it shows the ACTUAL stars of 4. Personally I can't be bothered to wait that long except for strength because I need all the carry weight I can get for survival.Īll bobbleheads add on to your base level of stars.
